Order

DefaultPreferences = site-level preferences, can be overwritten by updates, so regard it as read-only!

Higher numbers can override settings from lower numbers, unless it's a final preferences setting (finalised) from a lower number

Skinny dippping

matter, customato, foswikorg fluid is niet tot aan de rand!

jazzynote fluid is tot aan de rand!

natskin-style jazzynote met natskin-variation frontpage is niet oké.

Dit zijn de mogelijkheden:

• style customato met variatie blue
• style jazzynote met variaties red, green
• style matter met variatie topmenu
• style foswikiorg met variatie frontpage

Trial and error

still old login page

Since I still have my old wiki site, I thought I'd implement the NatSkin globally there first to see how that works. The SitePreferences save there without problem, but the skin didn't change.

Did a ?refresh=all, cleared the browser cache, but the login page also remains the old one.

I didn't touch the DefaultPreferences, I don't have any UserPreferences, so at least the Boossy of the Main web should have to apply the NatSkin theme, and it doesn't.

What was I overlooking?

The bullets had changed into spans and hence were not picked up.

After changing them back to normal bullets, everything was fine.
